Leigh Anne Johnson

Leigh Anne Johnson was born and raised in Bakersfield, California by her parents, along with her 2 older sisters. She attended local schools here in Bakersfield, graduated from Foothill High School and attended Taft College, California.
Leigh Anne is married to Jermaine - which together they have had four boys. All boys have an IEP Individual Education Plan’s. Amongst the four boys, the youngest, Holden has special needs including Autism.
She enjoys listening to musicals, comedies and Broadway shows, her dream is to watch a live musical play and travel to Europe.
Leigh Anne was introduced by her aunt who also has son with Autism to H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection over 3 years ago. She appreciated the help so much she wanted to give back, so when there was an opening, she applied and now is an employee with H.E.A.R.T.S. as a Resource Specialist.
The highlight of her job and that brings her immense joy, is when she helps families understand their child IEPs and when they feel supported during their child IEP meetings.
