H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection is a nonprofit organization sustained through the generosity of grants, donors, and community partners. Every contribution helps us continue providing programs, resources, education, and meaningful opportunities for individuals and families in our community.

Like many organizations, we are experiencing rising operational costs, including rent, utilities, insurance, Workers’ Compensation Insurance, and everyday office expenses. These increases directly impact our ability to provide the programs and services our community depends on.

We are looking for individuals, businesses, organizations, and community partners who believe in what we do and want to help us continue growing our impact.

Donations

Your generosity helps H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection continue serving individuals and families in our community. There are many meaningful ways to support our mission, and every gift—large or small—makes a difference.

Here are a few ways you can give:

  • Give in honor of someone you love. Celebrate a birthday, anniversary, graduation, or other special occasion by making a gift in honor of a friend or loved one.

  • Give in memory of someone special. Honor the life and legacy of a loved one by requesting that donations be made to H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection in lieu of flowers.

  • Take advantage of employer matching. Check with your employer to see if they offer a matching gift program. Your gift may be eligible to be matched, helping your contribution go even further.

  • Include H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection in your estate plans. Consider naming H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection as a beneficiary in your will or living trust as a lasting way to support our mission for generations to come.

  • Encourage your workplace or employee association to give. Many employee groups, associations, and organizations support local nonprofits. Find out how they select charitable organizations and consider recommending H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection.

  • Share our mission with others. One of the simplest ways to make an impact is to tell someone about H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection. If you know a friend, family member, business, or organization that believes in supporting individuals with disabilities and their families, introduce them to our work.

Get Involved

Supporting H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection doesn’t always mean writing a check. Your time, resources, connections, and willingness to spread the word can make a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals and families we serve.

Here are some ways you can get involved:

  • Donate needed supplies. Help us with everyday office and program needs by donating items such as copy paper, file folders, pens, hanging folders, staples, poster board, markers, and other supplies.

  • Sponsor an event. Ask your employer, business, church, civic organization, or community group about sponsoring one of our special events.

  • Participate in a fundraiser. Join us at one of our fundraising events and invite your friends, family, and coworkers to participate alongside you.

  • Volunteer your time. Volunteer in our office or help at one of our community events. Your presence helps us serve others while spreading awareness about H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection and our mission.

  • Join our fundraising committee. Put your ideas, connections, and talents to work by becoming part of the team helping us raise support for our programs and services.

  • Help spread the word. Share our brochures and information with local physicians’ offices, schools, businesses, churches, and other places where families may benefit from knowing about H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection.

  • Turn your own event into an opportunity to give. Host a yard sale, fundraiser, or other community activity and donate the proceeds to H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection.

  • Start a simple giving campaign. Organize a penny drive or other small fundraiser at your school, workplace, church, or community organization. Small gifts can add up to make a big impact.

  • Invite us to speak. Invite a member of our team to speak at your civic organization, workplace, church, school, or community group. We would love the opportunity to share our mission and the work happening in our community.
