We welcome everyone in the community to join us for a one mile walk. The Bakersfield Buddy Walk celebrates individuals who have Down Syndrome.Registration will be at 9:00 a.m. The walk will be at 11:00 a.m. at Beach Park. Registration includes a walk t-shirt. We will be having a team t-shirt contest. We will be having a wagon/stroller/wheelchair decorating contest (theme super hero). We will have children's activities, food and awareness merchandise available for puchase. We encourage everyone to bring chairs and shade.
