Laly Tenorio – Family Resource Specialist

Laly Tenorio is a Family Resource Specialist at H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection, where she supports families in navigating special education services and advocating for their children’s needs. After moving to Bakersfield from Utah at a young age, Laly grew up receiving special education supports through an IEP and later a 504 Plan—experiences that shaped her passion for working with children and families.

Laly began her career in Special Education as a paraprofessional, gaining hands-on experience supporting students in achieving their full potential. Today, she brings both professional knowledge and personal insight to her role, empowering parents through a process she understands firsthand. Outside of work, Laly enjoys spending time with her family, connecting with nature, and exploring natural ways to stay grounded and well.
