Leigh Anne Johnson – Program Coordinator

Leigh Anne Johnson is the Program Coordinator at H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection, bringing both professional experience and personal insight to her work supporting families. Born and raised in Bakersfield, California, Leigh Anne attended local schools, graduating from Foothill High School and continuing her education at Taft College.

As a mother of four sons, including her youngest who has autism, Leigh Anne understands firsthand the challenges families face when navigating special education services. She joined H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection over six years ago as a Family Resource Specialist and has since grown into her current leadership role. Leigh Anne is passionate about fostering parent-to-parent support and ensuring families feel heard, supported, and never alone. Outside of work, she enjoys musicals and Broadway shows and hopes to one day attend a live production and travel throughout Europe.
