Timaree Torres – Family Resource Specialist, Tehachapi
Timaree Torres is the Family Resource Specialist for the Tehachapi area at H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection, bringing both professional training and lived experience to her work with families. Originally from Orange County, California, Timaree grew up on the Central Coast in Lompoc and later moved to Tehachapi after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Brigham Young University. She has professional experience working as a Social Services Worker in both Utah and Kern County.
As a mother of four adult children, including a son with autism, Timaree has spent many years advocating for her child’s needs and navigating the special education system. H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection supported her family during IEP meetings in her son’s early years, making her transition into the organization especially meaningful. Today, she is passionate about giving back and supporting families with the same compassion and guidance she once received. Outside of work, Timaree enjoys reading, studying herbalism, making music, and spending quality time with her family.
